Periodic Procedure review

We deliver comprehensive Periodic Procedure Reviews to ensure that Instrument Flight Procedures (IFPs) remain compliant with current international requirements and continue to support safe, efficient, and predictable operations. In accordance with global regulatory expectations, published procedures must be reassessed on a regular cycle — typically every five years — to confirm their continued validity, operational suitability, and alignment with the most recent design standards.

Our methodology involves a complete reconstruction of each procedure from first principles using the latest applicable criteria and guidance material. This structured review includes:

  • An evaluation of the operational usability of each procedure;

  • Verification that it remains appropriate for current traffic patterns, airport infrastructure, and airspace configuration;

  • The integration of updated regulatory provisions, amendments, and design practices;

  • A detailed consideration of all safety-related elements and operational risks;

  • A thorough assessment of current terrain, obstacle data, and environmental factors against the re-constructed design.

Each review concludes with a comprehensive, formally documented report that provides:

  • A summary of all relevant aeronautical or environmental data changes;

  • An analysis of existing, modified, and newly identified obstacles;

  • Recommended amendments required to maintain compliance, resilience, and operational efficiency;

  • Proposed mitigation measures addressing any observed or potential reduction in procedural safety.

We support aviation authorities, ANSPs, and airports in fulfilling their regulatory obligations while ensuring that every published procedure continues to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational performance.
